How to solve: “Your site doesn’t include support for the “ugb/header” block.” in WordPress ?
The full error is: “Your site doesn’t include support for the “ugb/header” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.”
What causes this error?
This error usually occurs for people using the “Stackable” blocks plugin. The error is caused by the lack of backward compatibility from Stackable Version 3 (V3) blocks to Version 2 (V2) blocks. Stackable Blocks released its version 3 blocks on March 27, 2023. Unfortunately, blocks from the new Version 3 are not fully backward compatible with blocks from Version 2, nor Version 1 (V1).
How to solve the error?
By default, frontend blocks stylesheet and scripts from V2 and V1 are rendered well with all styles. But, users have to specify manually enable blocks in the editor from V2 and V1 in the Stackable Settings, as shown in the steps and screenshots below 👇
- Go to WordPress “Settings“
- Then to “Stackable“
- Then to “Settings” of Stackable
- Scroll down to “Other Settings“
- Enable “Load version 2 blocks in the editor“
- This other option will enable itself automatically “Load version 2 frontend block stylesheet and scripts for backward compatibility“.
Note: You can also enable Version 1 too by selecting the last option of “Load version 1 block stylesheet for backward compatibility“
